From Jon Schneck’s Twitter:

Got a test press of F&NSD on vinyl tonight… looks really really special

Vinyl for F&NSD is coming soon. I, for one, love vinyls. They just look so awesome.

Also, for those of you who are interested, check out Ethan’s site to see his top 10 albums of the last decade, and more..

Here’s a quick look at it:

I decided to put together a top 10 list of my favorite records that came out in the last decade. I think it’s a fun way to see people’s taste and it’s also a great way to discover new music. Some albums in my list may not be from my favorite artists, but I’m trying to narrow it down to records I could not stop listening to over the last 10 years. These are in no particular order.

Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros – Streetcore
Johnny Cash – American IV | When The Man Comes Around
Jimmy Eat World – Bleed American
The Cardigans – Long Gone Before Daylight
Rocket From The Crypt – Group Sounds
The Living End – Modern Artillery
Pedro The Lion – Control
Superdrag – In The Valley Of Dying Stars
Sunny Day Real Estate – The Rising Tide
Green Day – American Idiot

Here are some other albums that didn’t quite make it in my top 10. Ether way, they are also great albums, I just listened to the above ones way more. I’ll probably remember more albums, but these will do for now.

U2 – All You Can’t Leave Behind
Social Distortion – Sex, Love & Rock and Roll
Metallica – Death Magnetic
Switchfoot – The Beautiful Letdown
Coldplay – A Rush Of Blood To The Head

Ethan’s 2009/2010 Post

Sorry that this is a bit late, I’ve been busy and haven’t had much time to do anything. Check out this blog post from Ethan about 2009/2010.

From EthanLuck.com:

Hey folks,
Things have been a bit slow in the blog world over the holidays. Sorry about that. Well, 2009 is done and a ton of rad things happened last year. I toured a ton, recorded on some albums, photographed a ton of people, had photos in a good number of albums, went to Australia…etc. I hope 2010 is just as good, if not better, than 2009. I have a TON of time off right now and we (RK) should be picking things up sometime in March. So far, I am most excited about our trip to Japan this April! We are playing the 3 Punkspring festivals in Tokyo, Osaka & Nagoya. There are a bunch of bands playing but I am most excited about playing with my buds in New Found Glory. My Wife and I are gonna try to stay there a bit longer to enjoy Tokyo. I can’t wait to see all the sweet gadgets the Japanese have that we don’t!

On a side note. I have been getting a lot of questions regarding the Supertones reunion this summer. I wanted to clear some things up for all who have sent me confused emails and twitter messages. First off, it is happening sometime this summer…thats all I really know. Second, Dan Spencer and I were asked to be a part of the reunion and declined. Aside from being too busy with Relient K, I had no desire to be a part of it. In my opinion…I think it’s way to soon for something like this and I can’t imagine doing it any better than the last show we did in 2005. If you were there, you know what I’m talking about. There are some more personal reasons for me but I won’t get into that. I hope this answers some questions and clears things up as to why I am not doing it.

Just some old innerview..

First and foremost, a tweet from the Relient K twitter.

Thanks for 09 everyone! Lots of 2010 news on the way.
^ Sounds good to me!

Anyways, I was looking through some of the old Relient K interviews and came across a good – and long – one that we’ve never posted on here. It came out way before F&NSD so there’s still some stuff about the album release and all, but take a look at it, it’s one of the better innerviews. Enjoy!
