More WWS Tweets

For all you tweeps that don’t have Twitter, here’s more of what the guys were tweeting about last night about the WWS and the late night travelling:

From Jon Schneck’s Twitter:

Last post of the year on www.Jonathanschneck.com. Thanks to everyone who made the WWS possible. We had such a good time. see you next year.

I have decided red eyes inconvienence everyone involved. Unless you’re a transformer, then you can just transform and drive or fly home.

From John Warne’s Twitter:

WWS is done! Such a good time. Thanks so much to everyone who helped us finish the tour! And to every fan who didn’t ask for a refund :)

From Ethan Luck’s Twitter:

Best end of tour gift! @timhoh @johnny5w http://yfrog.com/3nohmlj

Oh man, I LOVE airports.

Almost home. Oh…delayed flight? I would expect nothing less in Atlanta.

So far, none of the videos from their last show have surfaced on Youtube. We’ll post one once one goes up!

Also, I’ve finally sat down and updated and added all the archives from the previous site. You can now see the archives from July 2007 to now.

Merry Christmas from Jon Schneck

From Jonathanschneck.com:

Tonight ends the Winter Wonder Slam tour, as well as our RK calendar year. I’m sitting in the Phoenix airport waiting to take a red eye to Atlanta to see my family. The last four shows of the year were minus the Matts. I can assume that this is probably the only time that this will happen in the history of RK, so if you were lucky enough to witness it, consider yourself privileged. We had a lot of fun playing the shows as a three piece and then with Tim Skipper at the mic. It was one of those moments that was special not because of what was happening, but because we all knew it was a short moment in time that we could hang onto and have fun with. Warne stepped up like a monster and took control of the stage, while i had fun dancing like an idiot. Ethan was a blast to watch singing “no reaction” every night, and everyone that pitched in was fantastic. I am not going to proof read this, so if it has errors, consider it on purpose. They are calling my section. gotta go. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. Do something special this year. if nothing else, Learn the cube.

For those of you that don’t know, Tim Skipper, the lead singer of House Of Heroes, will be joining Relient K on the final couple shows of WWS filling in for Matt Thiessen.
Please continue praying for the two Matts, but things seem to be looking up now for the Thiessen family;

From Matt Thiessen’s Twitter

Pretty sure the Dr. fixed my mommy. My heart feels better now too.
^ That’s awesome. All of us are pulling for you and wish a speedy and full recovery for your Mom.

The rest of the remaining guys (Jon, John and Ethan) – along with Tim, will be pulling off great shows for the WWS so you don’t want to miss those.

As well, for all you fan club members, make sure you check out the Fan Club site for information about the contest!

Important RK News; WWS – 12/17-20

From Relientk.com:

Dear RK fans,

Due to circumstances beyond any of our control, Matthew Thiessen needed to leave the Winter Wonder Slam last evening on a red eye flight to Canton. It is with great sadness to report that Matt’s mother suffered a severe heart attack Monday evening. Matt flew home to be with his family and at his mother’s side as she undergoes quadruple bypass surgery. We truly appreciate your understanding and prayers during this highly emotional time.

In an effort to make most of this situation, the remaining members of
Relient K (Ethan, John and Jon) will stay out for the last four (4) shows
and play host to Tim Skipper of House of Heroes as they put together a
medley of Holiday music and fan favorites. As an effort to make the shows
special, we will host a contest to have a fan club member join the guys on stage to perform ‘Sadie Hawkins Dance’!
Again, we thank you for your prayers and wish you joy in your hearts during
the Christmas season.

Best,

Kevin Spellman
Vector Management

Best wishes to the Thiessen family and hope that everything goes well. More info will be coming soon about the contest!

Please continue to pray for the Hoopes family as well – he’s been away on a “family emergency” and he is “going through some stuff”, so please keep him and the Thiessen’s in your prayers.

On the 1st day of Christmas, you listened to Let It Snow Baby…

We didn’t give you a partridge, or a pear tree, but since its’ ten days ’till Christmas, you should be listening to Relient K’s Christmas album, Let It Snow Baby…Let It Reindeer by now.
