Big Man Creative recently developed a new layer of B2F (aka Band to Fan) interactive content for Relient K. The band’s sophomore release, The Anatomy of the Tongue In Cheek (on Gotee Records, management by Alabaster Arts) recently surpassed 100,000 units sold, from which songs were requested for use in popular MTV programs Real World and Road Rules by Bunim-Murray Productions, producers of the network’s top rated shows. The new content can be accessed at www.relientk.com.

Relientk.com now features a tour journal, photo gallery, updated news, and a completely integrated Touring channel designed to display data in partnership with iTickets.com. The tour journal allows the band to post notes from home or the road at any time with anything that comes to mind, particularly to the mind of band member Matt Thiessen! Fans of the band will appreciate such philosophical entries as the Mohawk-no Mohawk discussion, counting the change at the local Giant Eagle grocery store, and a brief film contrast of Spiderman to Batman. Fans can live virtually with the band through this journal.

The PHTGRPY channel (photo gallery) features a photo essay dedicated to Dermike, along with band pictures, while the site’s home page now runs the latest news bytes from the band. Fans can also access current tour dates through a custom interface designed by Big Man Creative to incorporate tour data directly from the iTickets.com database.

As Matt Thiessen put it, “It’s already 12:30AM, and I’m scared cause I’m not asleep yet.”
