Name Origin: Comes from the Relient K song “Trademark”. I thought it was appropriate because of the RK at the end, and I wanted to use something from one of their songs.

HISTORY

I came up with the idea for trademaRK in May of 2005, with the intention of it being a graphic’s Web site for the band Relient K. When the site opened on June 1, 2005, it was hosted at my personal domain, n-outsync.net. In September 2005, I expanded it to a full fan site to include information about Relient K, news, reviews, lyrics, photos and anything else related to the band, because none of the fan sites for Relient K were updated regularly, and the world just needed a good Relient K fan site. As of February 19, 2008, TrademaRK had recieved more than 17,000 hits, and pulled up first in Google when a person searched for “Relient K fan sites”.

In late 2008, I purchased a domain name, tradema-RK.net, and server space from bluehost.com. On January 1, 2009, TrademaRK moved from n-outsync.net to tradema-RK.net, because it was time to move on to bigger and better things.

 In October 2009, tradema-RK.net was converted to WordPress for easier management and updating with the help of Kara and Alishia.

 

INFORMATION

To create this site I use Adobe CS3 and some of my own HTML knowledge. This site is based a great deal off of kirkpatrick.nu and other fan sites I visit that I enjoy.
